Your website is your face on the internet, how people perceive you. My aim is to reflect your tone, mood or professionalism in your site. I do this by selecting the right typography for your project, along with well planned layouts and harmonious colours.
Aside from style and visual beauty, my sites are built to be immediate and simple to use for visitors. I use modern methods to make interaction intuitive and to allow users goals to be reached quickly. I hand code my sites to ensure that pages are optimised for search engines and for speed of loading. My code meets the standards set down by the World Wide Web Consortium.

I believe that the creation of a new website should be an enjoyable exiting time, rather than an expensive worry. I take a pride in every website that I make and in every working relationship between myself and those who use my services.

I build websites for Small Businesses, Artists, Schools, Authors, Groups & Societies and Individuals. I don’t expect my clients to understand web technologies and I like to use plain English when we talk about what we want from the internet and how my clients can benefit from their own website. I like to quote fixed pricing for projects so that my clients don’t have to worry about escalating development costs.

Logo & Identity Creation

Finding the right identity is the crucial first step in communicating with your audience. I call upon a wide range of references from The Bauhaus Movement to Post Modern Design to Web 2.0. I take a pride in my ability to find the right hue, the right proportion, the right curve or the right glyph to carry your message. You may require an identity that is very modern, or very traditional; vibrant or subtle; elegant or challenging. I empathise with the dynamics of form and balance, and produce quality branding solutions.

The creation of a new logo or graphic mark is a very exciting time. I work closely with my clients, discussing options, reviewing possibilities and fine tuning final designs. Using the latest industry standard graphic software, I can produce an effective image for your product, business or event.

Photography

The most effective way to communicate with your website’s audience is through photographs. Good quality photography is vital in order for you to be seen at your best. I have a great deal of photographic experience and can offer photography as an integral part of your web design project.

Digital Imaging

If you have existing images that you would like altering in some way, I can offer a full range of digital manipulation skills. I have over 10 years of experience in using Photoshop, the worlds leading digital editing software.
